ShelterBox Virtual Annual Benefit

ShelterBox USA Virtual Annual Benefit: Event Recap

On Thursday, November 5, 2026, ShelterBox USA brought supporters together for an inspiring evening celebrating the power of shelter and the incredible difference compassion can make for families facing disaster and conflict.

This year’s Virtual Annual Benefit featured a special surprise appearance by Kevin Costner, who opened the evening with a moving introduction. Attendees also heard powerful stories from families like Aicha, who fled violence in Sudan, and nine-year-old Haneen in Gaza, highlighting the impact of emergency shelter and essential supplies.

Thanks to the generosity of Pam Pine and the ShelterBox USA Board of Directors, the evening began with an extraordinary $75,000 matching gift. Together, supporters helped raise $160,000 to provide emergency shelter and essential supplies to families facing crisis around the world. We were also proud to honor Don Hamilton, recipient of our 2026 Global Humanitarian Award, recognizing his outstanding commitment to humanitarian service.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Virtual Annual Benefit such a success!
