Discover the Power of Shelter and the Stories Behind ShelterBox’s Global Humanitarian Work

Around the world, families are facing unimaginable challenges after disasters and conflicts force them from their homes. Yet even in the most difficult moments, stories of hope, strength, and compassion continue to shine through. On Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET, ShelterBox USA invites you to experience these stories during its Annual Virtual Benefit: One Hour of Inspiration. This free, virtual event aims to bring people together for an unforgettable evening celebrating resilience, generosity, and the power of helping others. You can join from anywhere.
This year attendees will get an inside look at ShelterBox’s humanitarian responses as we’ll hear from families recovering in Nepal, Venezuela, Chad, Gaza and other parts of the globe. You’ll discover how emergency shelter and essential supplies are helping families rebuild their lives. You’ll also meet some of the dedicated people behind ShelterBox’s work and learn how the organization is continuing to prepare to support families in need. ShelterBox has supported 3.2 million people in 100 countries.

Our 2025 virtual benefit brought viewers together for an inspiring celebration of hope, with actor and filmmaker Kevin Costner joining in. Costner praised ShelterBox for its lasting approach to help people after disasters. “What was unique to me is that ShelterBox doesn’t just come; they stay,” Costner said. The event offered an opportunity to reflect on ShelterBox’s humanitarian mission and the importance of coming together for families facing crisis. This year’s benefit builds on that spirit, bringing new stories, fresh perspectives, and another opportunity to celebrate the difference that supporters make around the world.
