This year Lydia had to spend her birthday in lockdown, but instead of letting it fall flat she turned her celebration into an entire shelter. Lydia created a Facebook fundraiser for her special day, to bring friends and family together virtually.
She says: ‘I hoped we could share some love and support across the world in this trying time. We raised $84 through various small donations. That’s enough for a shelter kit, and I couldn’t be happier.’
