More Ways To Give
This year, your donation can transform lives. With your support, ShelterBox delivers life-saving shelter and essential aid to families recovering from disaster.
Gift of Stock
By donating appreciated assets, you can save on two types of taxes by avoiding capital gains tax and often getting a full deduction for the value of your gift. When you donate stock, please use this tool so we can track your gift, send you the right receipt, and you can get the tax savings you deserve.
Charitable IRA Distributions
If you’re 70 ½ years old or older, donations from your IRA to ShelterBox USA can reduce your taxable income and can help meet a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). Please note: When you make an IRA gift, please use this tool so we can track your gift and thank you.
Donor-Advised Funds
With a grant recommendation from your Donor-Advised Fund (DAF), you can give from money you’ve already set aside without spending additional money. This tool integrates with your DAF custodian, takes just a few minutes to use, and helps us track your gift.
Gifts of Real Estate
You can take care of yourself and provide for others with a gift of real estate. The sale of a home, commercial building, or investment property can provide tax benefits, generate income, and help people in crisis.
Cryptocurrency
A donation of appreciated cryptocurrency in support of ShelterBox USA can help you avoid capital gains taxes and earn a tax deduction.

THE IMPACT OF YOUR GIFT
Meet Amany. She is one of thousands in Gaza displaced by conflict, forced to leave behind everything she once knew. But thanks to supporters like you, Amany and her family have found hope in the face of unimaginable challenges.
On October 13, 2023, Amany’s life was upended. Her husband Ahmad, a paramedic dedicated to saving lives, was tragically killed during an attack. Left with no financial support, Amany fled with her three young sons—Mohammed, Essam, and Waleed —and her mother-in-law. Over the following months, the family endured multiple displacements, from her father’s home to a host family, before ultimately arriving at a makeshift displacement site in the heart of Gaza.
Life in the camp is far from easy. The family struggles with long waits for communal bathrooms, securing clean water, and the bitter cold of winter. Yet, amid this hardship, Amany finds solace in the support they’ve received. Through ShelterBox, in partnership with MAP and SDF, Amany’s family received emergency shelter, mattresses, and water containers that have made a critical difference in their daily lives.
“Even though we’re living in a tent, my children and I feel safe because we know we are not alone. The aid we receive is a beacon of hope, which makes our life better and enables us to face the challenges we have,” she shares.
While Amany dreams of one day returning to her home, she knows that life may never return to what it once was. Your support gives families like hers the tools to survive today and hope for a better tomorrow. With just a few clicks, you can help ensure children sleep safely tonight and face the future with resilience.
Your gift changes lives. Thank you for standing with families like Amany’s during their darkest times.
