Kentucky-born, Colorado native Chase Harr is on a mission to scale all of New England’s 4,000 foot peaks to raise awareness for ShelterBox USA, an international relief charity committed to providing shelter and supplies to families and people displaced by disasters and conflict around the world.
Harr’s journey, The Second Summits began in Maine and will end in New Hampshire in September with the goal of raising $100,000 in support of the ShelterBox mission. The elevation he will climb in total will equal over 50 vertical miles. To date, Chase has raised $8,500.
Chase is available either in person, via Facetime, or over the phone as he hikes through your region. He is also available for video and in person interviews and can filmed at the bottom of the mountains where he hikes.
Even after getting into a car accident the week of September 5, Chase will be completing his hikes as scheduled, being joined by his father.
Please share his story to help us continue to shelter thousands who have been displaced by disaster, violence, and a global pandemic.
