I am writing today to tell you about a charity called ShelterBox. In honor of its annual celebration, Big ShelterBox Week (June 9-16, 2012) and the families that ShelterBox helps around the world, please take a moment to read my email.
 

I am a proud supporter of this nonprofit organization, which delivers humanitarian aid in the form of equipment and materials that bring shelter, warmth and dignity to survivors of natural and other disasters around the world.
 

In 12 years, ShelterBox has responded to over 170 disasters in 80 countries, delivering boxes of aid to help families rebuild their lives—families whose homes were destroyed after a disaster such as an earthquake, flood, cyclone, tsunami or other disaster. ShelterBox helps families like this one:
