Anyone can organize an event to raise funds and awareness for ShelterBox. We have a team who can offer support and advice on fundraising activities or events that you may be interested in taking on. Hold a birthday party and request donations in lieu of gifts. Could you cope with life in a tent? Ask your friends and family to sponsor you to sleep in a tent for a night, a week or even a month. We are looking for passionate individuals to help spread the word and fundraise for ShelterBox. Ambassadors are the face of ShelterBox in their communities. Our Ambassadors are tasked with making contact with Rotary clubs and service clubs, religious, professional, and youth groups, then explaining to them the ShelterBox mission – thus building awareness of the organization through their public engagements. ShelterBox internships are voluntary and can be eligible for a small stipend. We look for people who are motivated and passionate about our mission. While our office is in Lakewood Ranch, FL, there are opportunities for remote internships.

Office support volunteers carry out a variety of tasks including supporting projects, answering phones and fill important roles in the office. This is a role that can be tailored to the volunteer’s key strengths. Click here to apply.
ShelterBox prides itself on getting aid directly to the people who need it most. One of the ways we achieve this is through our ShelterBox Response Teams or SRTs.
Conditions in the field can be very basic and deploying with our aid into remote and chaotic environments is not for the faint-hearted. The application and selection
