A 6.7 magnitude earthquake struck Indonesia, Sumbawa island killing close to 200 people and destroying hundreds of homes.
An ShelterBox Response Team made up of New Zealanders Owen Smith and Lyndon Tamblyn travelled to the town of Bima, close to the earthquakes epicentre, as soon as the news of the earthquake reached them.
Authorities reported that in Bima itself, scores of houses had been destroyed as well as school buildings and a health clinic.
